The 3 Best Spring 2014 Fashion Trends
As a busy mom of three, I have to admit that the latest fashion trends most often escape me. I sometimes dream about what it would be like to wake up like this, a la Beyoncé, with a closet full of the latest fashion trends. Being fashionable and a mom at the same time is a difficult feat; at least that's what I thought before I attended a 2014 Spring Trends event which opened my eyes to how easy mom style can be.
Since then, I've been trying out some of my favorites and have narrowed it down to the three best Spring 2014 fashion trends for effortless mom style.
The 3 Best Spring 2014 Fashion Trends for Effortless Mom Style
1) The T-Shirt Dress. Not only is this trend comfortable - and lasting - but it's cute too. You can dress it up with heels or dress it down with Ugg boots. Either way, you will look very stylish. I paired my favorite t-shirt dress with a scarf and pumps; and presto - I'm ready for a day out on the town. Bonus points on this one which is also the burnt orange color that's hot this Spring.
2) Mint Green. If ever there were a color that could tear me away from my most favorite of all-time {yes, you guessed right that would be pink!} it's this one. The mint green trend is one that I'm loving for sure. It's a beautiful color that pairs nicely with many others pallets. Here, I'm wearing my favorite half-sweater {love those} with a white tank and off-white scarf. If you couldn't tell by now, I surely love my scarves!
3) Colored Leather. I don't think I would've ever ventured to try this trend if it weren't for my friend Maria of Very Busy Mama - but I'm so glad that I did! I absolutely love wearing my leather jacket; and I get so many compliments on the style and color. It's a great alternative to a traditional black jacket and looks fabulous with just about anything. Here, I've paired it with this cute tank which happens to sport another Spring trend which is the blush color.
Bonus points for the peplum detail on the back - love this!
