I didn’t get this off the Bush’s web site, I just figured this out on my own (I’m so smart). I add a can of black beans to my favorite recipe for taco bake. Makes more, so it stretches the meat & cheese, in addition to adding much-needed fiber (the added flavor is great, too)

I follow the Reluctant Entertainer and She Wears Many Hats blogs via Bloglines. I have been seeing their bean recipes and can’t wait to try the Summer Bean Salad and the Black Bean Layer Dip. Both recipes sound great! Our family loves many different types of Bush Beans.
Favorite Bush Bean Recipe
Grilled Bush Beans – 1 can Bush black beans, 1 can Bush kidney beans, 1 can Bush great Northern, 2 cans pork n beans. Drain all but pork n beans. Add 1 lb spicy sausage. Add spices like a little brown sugar, mustard, ketchup, hot sauce etc. Heat on side burner to go with grilled foods.

LOVE this black bean salsa recipe. This would be a great topping on any grilled food, or even mixed with some queso fresco and tomatoes and served on it’s own as a dip.
