DownEast Basics has recently become one of my new favorite stores. In fact, I just bought a fabulous dress there this week. I’ve been wearing their tees for years, but hadn’t ventured out and tried much more. Then, when they offered to outfit my cruise vacay 2 weeks ago and I fell in love with the clothes, I decided it was high time to expand my wardrobe. And what a better time! Right as spring comes into full bloom and with summer around the corner.

I am looking forward to a summer of fun and sun! As summer begins, our kids have baseball, swimming and tennis. We have vacation plans for Chicago/Wisconsin, Jackson Hole, and Bear Lake. Good times!
Not to long ago i found out that I am pregnant. I am going to do everything I can to stay cool this summer despite being pregnant.

This summer i am looking foward to my parents comming up to visit me. They are bringing my 12 year old cousin up with them. We want to go out on a boat cruise on Lake Ontario (hopefully a sailboat). I also want to try to take them to the Gonodaga Historical site. Usually we stop at one of the local farms when they come up too.

Thank you for the giveaway. I told my children that when I get some extra money, I will buy them one of those $100 or less pools. We did have a $300 pool we bought with taxes the year before last but, our dog tore it up as a puppy! The pool was only a few months old {sigh}.
I’m looking forward to doing more activities with my children this summer and even if the pool is smaller, I would still get in it with them or even lounge next to it while they play.
