Dijon Mustard Chicken
Ingredients:
* 1/4 cup butter, melted
* 8 chicken pieces, about 2 1/2 to 3 pounds
* 1 1/2 cups seasoned chicken broth
* 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
Preparation:
Brush chicken with butter and set remaining butter aside. Arrange chicken on oiled grill, skin side up about 4 inches away from medium hot coals. Grill chicken until browned, turning and basting with the butter once. Keep flares extinguished with water. Add chicken broth and mustard to remaining melted butter in a metal pan; mix well. Place sauce at the edge of the grill so it will stay warm. Brush chicken generously with the sauce and grill for 30 to 45 minutes, or until tender. Turn and baste as needed to cook evenly and prevent burning. Boil remaining sauce for 1 minute and serve with the chicken.
Serves 4.

The pairing of Rosemary & Fig I think would go well at my barbeque with a nice grilled chicken breast and herbed potatoes on the grill. The fig would enhance the flavor of the herbed potatoes and the rosemary well that always is good for chicken of any kind.

recipe- Asian Barbeque Blowout
Ingredients
* 1 cup soy sauce
* 1 cup white sugar
* 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 5 cloves garlic, chopped
* 3 green onions, chopped
* 2 tablespoons Asian (toasted) sesame oil
* 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
* 2 pounds Korean-style short ribs (beef chuck flanken, cut 1/3 to 1/2 inch thick across bones)
1. Whisk together the soy sauce and sugar in a bowl until the sugar has dissolved, and stir in the black pepper, garlic, green onions, sesame oil, and sesame seeds.
2. Place the ribs in a large bowl, and pour the marinade over the ribs. Stir to coat the ribs with the marinade, and refrigerate for 1 hour. Stir the ribs and marinade again, and refrigerate for 1 more hour.
3. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat, and lightly oil the grate.
4. Remove the ribs from the marinade, discard the marinade, and grill the ribs until brown and no longer pink in the center, about 5 minutes per side. Have a spray bottle of water handy in case the ribs flare up.

I’d like to try the brown sugar and bourbon combo. I think my family would like the “Brown Sugar Bourbon Pork Tenderloin with Grilled Corn Bread & Peaches”. That sounds so yummy! Thanks.
We don’t particularly grill fancy stuff. We usually just marinate some chicken and put it on the grill. Sometimes we do veggie shish kabob to go with them! Thanks.
