What activities do you do with your kids to spend quality time together and guide them to reach their full potential? Fishful Thinking is a program sponsored by Pepperidge Farm that provides resources, tips, and activities for raising healthy and optimistic children.

Click here to join the #gno Twitter party this Tuesday 2/2 from 9-11 PM EST with Pepperidge Farm Fishful Thinking to share parenting advice and activities with other moms and Dr. Karen Reivich, renowned Positive Psychologist.

Prizes

One winner will receive a Fishful Thinking prize pack, which includes one Canon digital camera to capture life’s precious moments and “The Optimistic Child,” co-authored by Dr. Karen Reivich. ($250 Approximate Retail Value)

All entries received after Wednesday, February 3 at midnight PT will not be considered. Entries that do not follow all of the entry requirements will not be considered. Winners will be notified and will have 24 hours to confirm receipt of the e-mail. If they do not reply within 24 hours, another winner will be selected. Open to participants in the US and Canada 18 years and older. One entry per person.

    I hope this doesn’t sound crazy, but spelling is REALLY important to me. I have trouble trusting websites that talk about “druelling” over something delicious, say that I should click on something to “veiw” it, or that “congradulate” me for entering a giveaway successfully. So I spend a lot of time with my kids at home playing Scrabble and Boggle, and while we’re waiting for appointments, we play the advanced version of Ghost, where somebody says a letter, and then the next person picks a letter and says whether it should go at the beginning or the end of the existing letter(s). In deference to my sensitive child, you don’t LOSE if you can’t come up with any letter that doesn’t make the word end on your turn – we say that you get to go first to pick a letter for the new word. My son is a math kid, but an excellent speller; my daughter is into theater, but she is a great speller, too, so it must have helped!
