I contributed to Building a Nation of Scientists.
I submitted a comment about my son’s teacher who has helped him tremendously…My son has high functioning autism and is in a regular class but does much better since this amazing teacher has taken the time to get to know him and to help him….So of course I donated to a group with Autistic needs, there is so little out there to help these kids, it’s terrible…

Here’s the project I choose. Love the picture of the little girl reading a book. Good luck to the teacher.
A Place for Everything and Everything in its Place
I am asking for a communication center/mailbox for my students. I currently don’t have anywhere to put papers that students need to take home.

Hi all -
I am loving the Bing promotions they are doing for DonorsChoose. I am teacher and I have had some wonderful opportunities funded for my students there. I took my Bing cards and applied them to my projects for my classroom. I am a science teacher and I am trying to build up supplies for lab work. http://www.donorschoose.com/erodrigues
thanks!
I gave to “Help Save Our Bottoms with an ABC Caterpillar Learning Rug!,” “Tell Me the Story Again: Special Needs Pre-K/K Literacy Bags,”"Recharge Me! Rechargeable Batteries for Special Needs Class,” “Music Mania: Special Education Pre-K Class Needs Music CDs,” and “Art Supplies: Flowers Are Blooming and So Are Little Artists” using the Bing GivingCard codes. These are my projects for my classroom. Every bit helps and I really appreciate that Bing has been so generous in helping to fund these projects.

I donated to Laptops for Literacy and Learning. My husband is a full time student and we are in desperate need of a laptop for his schooling. He was laid off in 2008 and was unable to find any work after the lay off. We lost our home and many of our possessions including our vehicles due to not being able to afford repairs. He enrolled full time in a Network Administration course last March and will finish this coming December. He is doing so well and is working so hard so he can graduate. We are living on a very limited income and he is in need of a laptop so that he may receive all of the material that is given to the rest of the students to continue to succeed. We just dont have the money to buy a laptop. We have gone on several sites like freecycle and craigslist in hopes that someone might have one they werent using or even one that might need some work on it but we have not been unsuccessful at receiving one. He is such a caring and good man and I wish I could do more for him and be able to buy him what he needs because he is working so hard on making a better future for us and the kids but I cant. He is the type to go out of his way to help those in need from scrapping leftovers to give a family in need of food to giving his coat to a total stranger who was cold and he felt needed it more than him. If I could win a laptop for him it would be a blessing that we have been looking for so that he can continue to do well in school and move forward to making a better future. This is a awesome giveaway I love how you made a giveaway so that not only will some win wonderful prizes but they can also donate to great causes as well.
