I am typically not the guy to write comments on people’s blogs, but for this post I just had to accomplish it. I’ve been digging close to your web page whole lot nowadays and I'm awesome impressed, I consider you can genuinely emerge as the primary voices to your market. Not sure what your load is like in life, but should you started devoting more effort to posting on this site, I would guess you would start seeing a bunch of traffic soon. With ads, it might become a sweet second revenue stream. Just an idea to ponder. Great luck!

joomla 1.5 is free, download it, if you don't have a website the download Xamp and apply on computer as localhost, once installed there’s tutorials in the data thats downloaded with it. Theres a great video on joomla web site about how to set up Xamp, (with the mysql and Apache etc stuff) just watch each step clearly and exactly.

As PR chick, the newest part of our media outreach is to bloggers. When we have a product that we want to reach a targeted consumer quickly, we approach bloggers appropriate for the product and ask if they will write about it. With social media becoming so instrumental in marketing and public relations strategy, we rely on bloggers and twitters as simple yet effective ways to get the word out. It would be terrible for bloggers to lose this ability, as it would make my job much harder! :-)

I think the FTC would be of more use if it focused on newspapers instead of bloggers.

It seems to me that bloggers, and really many of the internet communities in general, already self-regulate. It's frustrating and annoying to have a nanny organization step in and impose rules that are already being followed for the most part.

ITA on the celebrity dress example. Ridiculous imho.

Thanks Gwen, and Stephanie, for a great post. Seems like this is a hot topic. It will be interesting how it all plays out. Hopefully, bloggers will still be able to be bloggers!
