MONITOR your medicine cabinets and your teen’s activities. Take active inventory of the drugs in your medicine cabinet and in your home. Take note of your teen’s behavior, appearance, and interests.
SHARE what you have learned with other parents and your community. Get the “Stop Medicine Abuse” message out at school meetings, sports events, and other gatherings full of parents. Know who your teen’s friends’ parents are.
