Crepes With Nutella Recipe

Who knew a simple Crepes With Nutella Recipe could bring such joy to so many people's lives?

This past weekend, the Mom It Forward team and our families enjoyed a weekend at Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort just outside of Zions National Park in Southern Utah. When our team member's wife, Gen, who hails from Versailles, France, offered to share her crepes with nutella recipe with us, we ran, not walked, into the kitchen, nodding our heads in an emphatic "Yes!"

She offered to teach a little on-the-spot French cooking class for us that even the kids and teenagers joined in on. I mean, who could turn down the opportunity to learn how to flip a crepe?

The result? The most delicious crepes we have ever eaten and 16 amazingly happy children who now all want to visit France.

Crepes With Nutella Recipe-How To

Ingredients

The crepes with nutella recipe calls for many ingredients, most of which you can find at your local grocery store. For our trip, given the amount of people, we bought all but three ingredients at Sam's Club to save on cost.

Crepes With Nutella RecipeTo make the crepes, you will need:

  • 6 Bananas
  • 3 Cans Whipped Cream
  • 12 Eggs
  • 2 Gallons whole milk
  • 2 Jars Nutella
  • 1 Pound Salted Butter
  • 10 Pounds Flour
  • 1 Package Strawberries
  • 1 Package Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Vegetable Oil
  • Salt to Taste

Directions

  1. Sift together flour, sugar and salt; set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, beat eggs and milk together with an electric mixer.
  3. Beat in flour mixture until smooth.
  4. Stir in melted butter.
  5. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat.
  6. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 2 tablespoons for each crepe.
  7. Tip and rotate pan to spread batter as thinly as possible.
  8. Brown on both sides.
  9. Serve hot or cold, adding toppings such as bananas, Nutella, strawberries, and whipped cream.
  10. Fold into a triangular shape and enjoy!

The preparation takes 5 minutes. Cooking takes 30 mins.
