America’s excitement for Moscato continues to grow faster than any other wine varietal with volume increasing by 26.3% in 2012. Gallo Family Vineyards established the day to encourage people to toast the refreshing, fruitful wine by engaging in a fun and educational conversation on Moscato, what they love about it and the many ways it can be enjoyed.

They’ll be joining us for our Girls’ Night Out to chat about the best cheeses, desserts, and main dishes to complement Moscato. Moscato comes from the Muscat grape, which is the oldest domesticated grape variety. Traditionally, Muscat grapes are known for their pronounced sweet floral aroma and flavor. These grapes are grown around the world and there are more than 200 types recorded and they are commonly used for wine, raisins and table grapes.
