DIY Craft: How To Make a Valentine’s Day Bunting

craftsholidays

With Valentine's Day being just a few days away, who doesn't love all of the love, festive food, and fun craft projects that are being shared all over?

The Valentine's Day love bug hit me recently. Thanks to PLAID, creating this fun and simple bunting was super easy helped me add a little dose of Valentine's Day charm to my home!

I used four canvas pages from a scrapbook kit for my bunting backgrounds. These can easily be recreated by using stiff canvas cloth cut to the desired size you want  and stitch around the edges to add a fun stitched detail. The grommet detailing is nice but not a must! You can also sew them onto your ribbon to hang them as apposed to  threading them threw the holes!

I also used PLAID Apple Barrel paint in BLACK and PLAIDS amazing foam stencil brush! These brushes are my favorite! A stencil kit will also be needed.

I used a gingham ribbon to string my pages together and stenciled on the L-O-V-E! One coat of paint was all it took!

After it dried, it was ready to hang! I love how simple and clean this project looks — nothing too heavy or overly done! It also serves as a simple reminder of what fills our home — love!

What are some of the ways you can say "I love You" this Valentines Day?
