Planning a Trip to SeaWorld San Diego
Every summer our family likes to plan a summer vacation. This year, our family went to Southern California to take in the beach and a little sun. As we researched some of the things we could do while we were in the area, going to SeaWorld San Diego was at the top on our list.
Planning the details of your vacation before you leave is an important way to ensure that your trip is stress-free and enjoyable. UndercoverTourist.com is a great resource when you are planning a family trip. This site is now covering Southern California attractions! This was a bonus for us. When you go to this site, you are able to purchase discounted E-Tickets ahead of time to avoid long wait lines. We got ours before we left for California and were able to walk right in the park and head straight to the rides. Next day delivery or pick up is available. It doesn't get any easier than that.
We loved being able to plan our day by visiting the SeaWorld resort tab on the Undercover Tourist site. The site shared great ideas of where to stay while we were in San Diego, when the best time to visit the area, and what to do while we were there. This felt like an added bonus.
SeaWorld is a marine zoology park along the Mission Bay in San Diego. We were excited to explore SeaWorld and find out that is as much of a theme park as it is a marine park, with animal shows, and thrill rides. We have kids that range from 17 to 11 so we wanted to plan out our day and make sure that everyone was able to do exactly what they wanted at the park.
Undercover Tourist has a blog with several posts that review different parts of the park. We loved reading about the things we could do in the theme park so we could plan which areas we wanted to visit. Here are some of our favorite attractions:
- Sting Rays
- Dolphin Show
- Journey to Atlantis
- Shark Encounter
You can also read a detailed description about each attraction/ride, the restrictions, and who the ride is suitable for. It really helped take the guess work out of our trip.
Be sure to sign up for an Undercover Tourist account, which allows you to "favorite" and save attractions, videos, blog posts, tickets and more for later reference. Plus, an Undercover Tourist account allows you to track your order history and download your E-Tickets for easy reference.
Take time to enjoy the SeaWorld property. We loved the flowers, foliage, and art collages made out of recycled marine debris.
What are you favorite things to do at SeaWorld San Diego?
I received complimentary tickets for reviewing this venue. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
