Smartphone Apps: The Top Apps for Productivity and Creativity
biz, tech, & social media • lifestyle
There are millions of apps available for smartphones, tablets, computers, etc. These apps can help make our lives easier and more creative. I decided to compile a list of my favorite smartphone apps while getting the input of critics and our Mom It Forward community. I love apps that help my productivity and creativity! Let's have a look at what's popular these days:

Since I am always on the go, having everything in one place is SUPER helpful for me. Some of my favorite apps that help keep me at my best are: Google Maps, Check Please—Tip Calculator, Flashlight, and Dropbox.
Critic favorites:
Mashable recommends Pocket and 1Password (I seriously need to get this because I can NEVER remember all of my different passwords). USA TODAY recommends Snapguide, which is a how-to app that helps you learn how to make various recipes, do nail art, get fit, and much, much more.

I love how many apps there are to help make me feel creative or like I am a professional photographer. Some of my favorite apps to help edit and share my images are: Instagram, Camera+, Hipstamatic (if I am feeling artsy), and Vintique. For video, I have just downloaded Vine, which is a new video app for Twitter. Vine allows you to share up to 6 seconds of video. I think this is so cool! There is also cinemagram which turns your images into a video!
Critic favorites:
Yahoo! recommends trying Silent & Timer Cam Portraiter for Android and Viddy for iOS. Photoshop Express, Touchnote Postcards, and Gifboom are also recommended.

Miscellaneous
My favorites:
I love playing games on my phone with my family. One of the apps that I absolutely love is Kid Chatteroo. I have so many hilarious voice recordings of my favorite little ones from using this app on my phone. I love listening to the recordings when I am away traveling, etc. I also love to play (and listen to the background music) of Robot Unicorn and Temple Run Brave.
Critics favorites:
Highest rated medical app: My Pain Diary, Google Maps for navigation, Jetpack Joyride was named people's choice for best app at the Best App Ever contest, and Bump and Cozi were named two of the handiest apps available.
