Winter is the perfect time of year to get out and take advantage of outdoor activities the whole family can enjoy.
Whether you live in Utah, plan on being in the area during this ski season, or were looking for the perfect reason to come to the mountains, Park City Mountain Resort would like to help make your holiday season more enjoyable by offering one lucky winner an amazing gift pack (with an approximate retail value of $900), including:
- Four adult single-day lift tickets*
- Two days of Kids Signature Programs (ski lessons) for two kids (ages 3-14)**

The Fine Print
No purchase necessary to enter. Winners will be selected randomly through http://random.org. Park City Mountain Resort and Mom It Forward employees are ineligible to participate. All entries received after Sunday, December 20 at midnight PT will not be considered. Entries that do not follow all of the entry requirements will not be considered. Winners will be notified and will have 24 hours to confirm receipt of the e-mail. If they do not reply within 24 hours, another winner will be selected. Open to participants in the US and Canada 18 years and older. One entry per person.
Park City Mountain Resort will provide for the Sweepstakes two single adult lift tickets. These tickets must be used during the 2009/winter 2010 ski season and expire May 31,2010. They are transferable, but may not be exchanged for cash. This offer includes lift tickets only.* The kids Signature Program includes two lessons for kids ages 3-14 only. It does not include equipment, clothing, or rentals. ** Total value of prize is approximately US$ $900. Great GNO this week! I’ve heard wonderful things about Park City Mtn Resort but have yet to have the chance to ski there.
As for my tip for helping kids fall in love with giving, I’d suggest doing a family activity where the entire family takes part in a charitable cause and make it a family tradition. I used to do this with my parents as a child, and it’s still something I do during the holidays as an adult.
For the entry, I faned them on FB, followed both handles on Twitter, and tweeted about GNO. I also did all the extra entry requirements. Hope Tuesday night is a success. I’ll try to be there!

I’m now a fan of SnowMamas on facebook & posted a message on the wall. I’ve tweeted the messages and posted it on Facebook. I’m already following @momitforward on twitter and am subscribed to the RSS feed for MomItForward.com. I became a fan on Facebook of MomItForward (rock on!).
Our kids are still little so we’re really trying to get them over the hump of thinking that Christmas is all about gifts for them. We’re encouraging them to come up with ideas for what gifts they want to give to each other and others in our lives. We’re in the process of getting licensed to do foster/adoptive care and have been teaching our kids about helping these children by giving them love and a safe place. Sadly, however, I don’t have pictures of any of these things to post to Flickr.
What a sweet giveaway, Jyl! Thanks for the opportunity to have at it! Randy would be on cloud nine for a year (at least) if we won. He could really, really use the pick-me-up. Crossing fingers and toes that we’re chosen (randomly, of course).

Every holiday I take my oldest kids to local charity event where we provide dinner, Santa comes, and distribute large gift baskets for lower income families. We have participated in this event for several years, and we always leave with many smiles and very warm hearts. Peace!

I was so excited to move here because of the awesome snow – and I just have to win this so we can go snowboarding because we are so poor we won’t be able to otherwise!
