Many of us are looking for new ways to make a difference in the lives of the families in our community, and whether those opportunities come to us through our professional world as social media influencers or in our everyday lives, we know it is important to give back. One way you can make a difference is by joining the Great American Milk Drive—the nation’s first program to deliver highly-desired gallons of milk to hungry families in your community. Launched by Feeding America—the nation’s largest domestic hunger relief organization—and made possible by the nation’s dairy farmers and milk companies, this program is designed to deliver nutrient-rich milk to families in your community who are in need.
While Americans are generous with donations of canned and dry goods, fresh milk is a lot harder to donate because it’s perishable. In fact, food bank directors say milk is one of the products their clients request most often – but they cannot always meet the demand. Right now, more than 12 million hungry families are missing out on the essential nutrients supplied by milk, but you can help change that. Make an easy donation online at www.milklife.com/give, for as little as $5 dollars. From now until May 25th, your donation will also match dollar for dollar.
