Hand-drawn Animals

Now, that you have everything ready, just follow these easy steps:

STEP 1

First, draw the animals. There’s a plethora of drawing tutorials online so you have no excuse to skip the fun that this step alone offers. The animals in this tutorial are taken from WeDrawAnimals.comelephant, gorilla, monkey, lion, snake and a deer (for lack of a simple antelope tutorial).

Tip: it’s better to draw using small pieces of paper so it will be easier for you to cut and paste them later.

STEP 2

After drawing the animals you can then color them using any kind of coloring medium you want to use:

STEP 3

Glue your artwork on a piece of cardboard box.

STEP 4

Then, cut the shape of the animal leaving a small space for a flap. The flap will serve as the part where you put the glue to make it stand later. (Be extra careful in using scissors!)

You can repeat steps 1 to 4 for the other animals. Then take a bigger cardboard box, and place your animals. Use glue to stick them and make them stand. You can also cut grass shapes with colored craft paper to further enhance your jungle.

And there you have it. Your mini-jungle is now done, filled with animals you have drawn. You can now proudly display your work in your room.

Enjoy!
