Please help me turn my ghettofied kitchen into a fabulous oasis. My kitchen is a huge embarressment. The linoleum flooring is coming up in certain areas. The ice maker is not hooked up, instead taped to wall. Don't tell him I said it, but my husband can't fix anything. He riggs any and everthing that he touches. Please help me to get my husband out of my kitchen before he tries to repair anything else.

I just ran across this contest and am three minutes from the 12:00 deadline. I must say the pictures speak for themselves. We live in a house that is over 180 yrs old and the WOOD.....There is so much of it I don't know where to start. I love my kitchen ..help

I would like to update my 1960's Ranch kitchen. After over 40 years of wear and tear its time to update. Everything in the kitchen is original except for the mid-seventies refrigerator (Which also needs to be replaced).

"I pledge to help this home"->This could be a 'win-surprise' for a kitchen in a house that is being gutted & re-done. It's a 'Bishops House' in Unalaska, Alaska. A Russian Orthodox Priest & his fam are doin all the work on that home to get it up & runnin again. I believe it's a historical building. They are getting little to no help with re-doin this house. They'd cry happy-tears if this kinda help is given

My kitchen is a very busy one, that our family of 7 use constantly. I love to cook;so we eat,do homework, games, and socialize in there.We do a lot of maneuvering to get everyone to the table at one time.My kitchen is our connection to each other, and I would be so blessed by"PLEDGE" if I could have a warm, open,and inviting new kitchen.I have many ideas, like better lighting, counters, cabinets ect...but most of all a great family project as we love our family time.

Wow! It's down to the wire. We are still trying to figure out how to tell you about our kitchen. Love was never a word we used to describe our feelings for it before this contest. At first glance, this kitchen looks like harvest gold with a touch of blue mess. When actually it has served an average 51,900 meals, 21,900 cups of morning coffee and late night snacks in its 60 years of service. Pledge can help me love my kitchen more by giving it the retirement party of its dreams.

Pledge can wave their magic wand and change me from Old Mother Hubbard to Cinderella by helping me with floors & space. My kitchen floor creaks so much it sounds like a haunted house & I’ve been known to tell callers to phone me back when I’m in another room. I need more space to store my four HUGE iron skillets in the oven so it's like pumping iron every time I bake just to move them. I take such pride in my home but I need a fairy godmother to transform this all important room.
