I’m not gonna lie to you! When my now 6YO was a mere babe, I entered him in one of those parenting magazine cover contests. And to this day I’m sure it was my photography that made it so he didn’t reign contest winner!
Can you relate to the feeling of everyone needing to see the cutest child in the world (which just so happens to be your son or daughter) on the cover of a magazine, in a catalog, on a TV show, or in a movie? Or, do you embrace the other side of this feeling and wouldn’t want this for your child to save your life?

I’ve missed not being able to join in on GNO lately and can’t wait for this week’s, esp. since my son was a child actor in Hollywood, till we moved out of LA and back to the east coast. As former editor-in-chief of CollegeBound Teen Magazine, there was a time when “young Hollywood” was my one and only beat. Now that I’m a mom, it’s amazing how my perspective has changed… a little for the better, a little for the worse. LOL! This’ll definitely be a fun topic to chat about. TTYT.

I’m new to all this , so I don’t know what ages you are talking about. I have a 15 yr old son who is shy by nature, but wants to be a model. we have never takeb him to any clases or schools. last week they held a a moldeling contest where he had to do a short runway and make up a 15 sec, commercial, he did goog, the next morning he got the call back to do the 2nd round of the contest, which will be with judges from all across the country , going against kids his age that has been in modeling school all thier life. what i need is help and what to expect. we dont have the money the other contestents do, the judge called him a natural “all american boy”. I need help in which way to turn
