Topic Talk 3.0—The Election

#gno information!

Wow! What a fantastic GNO last night. We talked each other's ears off, gave away a prize, ranked second in the Twitter Top Trending Groups. got some donations for the GNO Cares fundraiser, and received a ton of Topic Talk submissions.

Without further ado, let's give a hoot and a hollar for these Great GNO Gals—our first features in this week's Topic Talk.

Nice Shoes! talks about her fascination with this year's election and the impact it has had on the public. Read on....

What keeps me fascinated...is the long lines. When is the last time that we have seen so many individuals engaged in the process? With the economic climate in the state that it is in, more and more people are recognizing how much of an impact they have in being a part of the process. It is no longer just political...it is personal.

Homeschool Blogger Cindy writes about, what she calls, "A Homeschooler's dream"—taking her kids to a presidential rally.

Parenting Pink provides a hysterical take on political paraphernalia.

June Cleaver Nirvana talks about an election-related struggle she had with her son that started off like this:

When do we find out if you win?

Honey, I am not running for president of the United States.

Why not?

I already have a job.

Please mommy! Please, just think about it. I really want you to be president.

That is really sweet of you, but no, I am not running for president.

Gohn Crazy talks about her voting experience and even provides video of the lines. Get enthused about your freedom to vote all over again when you read her post. (The pic at the top of this post is of her from her blog.)
