Cupcakes: The Perfect Holiday Dessert

If you're like me, you love cupcakes? Not only are cupcakes ideal for special occasions, but they make the perfect holiday treat.

The holiday season is a busy time. Concerts, shopping, work parties, school events, and other activities vie for your time. Instead of slaving in the kitchen making batches of cookies during an already busy time of year, consider saving time by whipping up some festive cupcakes?

Holiday Cupcakes: Decorating Ideas

This fall, I visited the Smucker's Headquarters where I got to tour the test kitchens and research and development department where they developed new product, tested ideas, and came up with the perfect products. Already a huge fan of Pillsbury's frosting with sprinkles in the lid (genius!), I fell head over heels in love with their new Holiday Funfetti.

The product landed on shelves just in time for the holidays. The Garland Green Vanilla flavor is the perfect way to top that little cupcake of yours. And let's not forget about the sprinkles. The Pillsbury holiday frosting comes with Christmas and winter-themed sprinkles in red and green with white snowflakes. What's brilliant is that these sprinkles come in the lid so you don't have to make another trip to the store. How easy is that?
