Craft: How to Make a “God Bless America” Frame
Today I have a simple craft made with a free printable and some fabric covered buttons. With Memorial Day and the 4th of July looming around the corner, I thought “God Bless America” would be an appropriate printable for your holiday decor. I had a friend design the music chart for God Bless America made available to you here.
How to Make a "God Bless America" Frame
Supplies:
- "God Bless America" music chart free printable
- Cardstock
- Patriotic fabric
- Buttons
- 8x10 frame
- Paint
Directions:
First, print out your "God Bless America" music chart. Next I took some different patriotic fabrics from Riley Blake’s Stars & Stripes collection and cut out little pieces for my covered buttons.
I then used my Itop button maker to cover some small buttons with the Brad Daddies on the back.
I gave an 8'” x 10” frame a quick coat of red spray paint and while that was drying I printed out the God Bless America printable on white cardstock. I punched holes in the music notes and slid my brad backed covered buttons through, then opened the brads on the backside so they would stay in place.
Then I popped that into the frame. Instant patriotic décor!
What ways do you like to decorate for the holidays?
