  65. I usually buy two gifts for each wedding I am invited to, whether I’m able to attend or not. The first gift is a DIY present something I make to ensure they don’t receive anything else like it. For the 2nd present I like to get them something from their bridal registry to give them something for their wish list. With those 2 gifting strategies, I feel I’ve covered all bases and can contribute to the bride and groom’s happiness. 😉

    Depends on how well I know the couple. If it’s not a close friend, can’t go wrong with a gift card from wherever they’re registered. Close friends usually get something handmade, whether that is embroidered, glass etched, quilted, etc. When I got married, I got 5 Mr. Coffee Ice Tea brewers because I’m a tea drinker. I don’t want to force the same situation on another bride.
