Giving A+ Apples to Our Hard Working Teachers

momcrafts

It’s Fall time and apples are at their peak this season! So we grabbed a few at the store, along with some caramels, and decided to make Caramel Apples for our fabulous teachers who work so hard to help us learn!

Serving Teachers with Candy Apples

My kids love to help in the kitchen and dipping apples in caramel is a perfect task for little hands. We even dipped the apples a second time in some chocolate, and added sprinkles for something a little extra.

Teacher Appreciation Candy Apples

Next stop was school. Here’s my daughter handing off her apple creation to her preschool teacher! Thanks, Miss Holly, for all you do!

How have you showed appreciation for your child’s teacher?

This isn’t as crafty as your idea, but I stopped at Dippidee’s and purchased one of their large apple shaped/frosted sugar cookies and had my daughter write a thank you note to go with it. Now that my daughter is in school (pre-school) and I see how much she is accelerating with her reading/writing, plus how excited she is to go, I realize how much her teacher is involved with that! They deserve so much! – at least a thank you every once in a while. :)
