National Check List Day

momreviews

Sharpen those pencils, dust off those red markers Because it's National Check List day!

I know, can you believe it? Task masters unite!

In case you were unaware, there is a site completely dedicated to everything lists!

ListPlanIt.com, owned and operated by Mom Jennifer Tankersley, has really captured the essence of the check list.

Becoming a member has it's benefits:

$20 a year will allow you to Print your lists

$30 a year will allow you to Print your lists AND customize as well as Download them online

Boy are there choices! Categories covering simple things like "contact management" and "meal planning" to more complicated projects like "moving" or "financial planning" if you can think up a reason to make a check list you'll likely find it among the over 300+ lists!

Our favorite area has been Travel Planning, every time my family gets ready to travel the Pipsqueak requests we jump on List Plan It to create his packing list.

What can I say, the apple doesn't fall far from this tree. We have a list saved that we modify depending the season or where we're headed. The added bonus is his confidence boost when we're loading up the car. He knows he hasn't forgotten anything and proudly shows me his checked off sheet!

I hope whether you're a list lover or hater, you'll take the time during this national observance and surf around ListPlanIt.com, then come back and let me know where you stand:

Do you love check lists? Or do you avoid them like the plague?
