Spring: Fun Easter Craft Idea for Kids

I love finding a fun Easter craft idea for kids that I can make with what I have on hand. While I'm always up for a trip to the craft store, sometimes it's nice to use up some of the things that you already have in your craft stash. This fun Easter craft for kids uses things that you probably already have in your Easter supply box from last year to make your own adorable Easter Bunny. There are a number of craft supplies that you can substitute for other things if you don't have these in your stash.

Easter Supply Box

Materials

Several plastic-colored Easter eggs. or dye real hard boiled eggs instead
Pastel-colored card stock to make the Easter bunny's ears and the base
Leftover Easter grass
Multi-colored pom poms
Wiggly eyes
White glue or glue dots
Markers, crayons, or colored pencils

Directions

Cut several pieces of card stock into circles to serve as the base.
Glue the leftover Easter grass on top of the circles.
Glue the plastic Easter egg wide-side down to the top of the base with Easter grass on it. Let the glue dry before you go on.
Trim the grass around the base if you want it neater.
Cut out two pieces shaped like ears from the card stock.
Color the center piece of the ears in an oval shape to look like ears.
Attach them with white glue or glue dots.
Glue on the pom poms for a tail and add the wiggly eyes to the front.
If you don't have pom poms, you can use a cotton ball for a tail.
If you don't have wiggly eyes, you can use markers to draw on eyes.

You can make one of these to set at each place for Easter dinner. Or, you can make a collection of Easter bunnies to sit in a basket or on your mantel. Either way, this makes a fun Easter craft for kids that everyone can enjoy.
