Family Organization: Creating a Family Calendar
When I think of back-to-school, the first thing that comes to mind is a family schedule. For my busy family of six, family organization and a family calendar are an absolute must. Once school starts, our family life starts to get really busy. Scheduling family time can be close to impossible. All of my children are involved in several activities which is why having a family calendar is the only way to keep us all on the same page. Plus, a calendar helps us stay connected.
In the "Becoming a Super Hero Family" eBook series, we talk about "Enjoying the Journey" in our second eBook. Super hero families encounter all types of things during their journey to becoming a super hero family. You can't fully enjoy your time together as a family if you are overscheduled. Having a family calendar and updating it frequently has been a lifesaver for my family. When we all know what each other's schedules are, then we are more apt to be able to support each other in our extra-curricular activities.
