Keeping your gas tank at least half full during the winter will decrease the chances of moisture forming in the gas lines
Make sure your car engine belts are tight and secure
Keep a survival kit in the car. Include items such as flashlight (w/ fresh batteries), blankets, food bars, water bottles, cell phone charger, jumper cables, flares, a HELP sign, and first aid kit.
