Just Ask! Giveaway: Win Flip HD Camera with Jacket
Just Ask! as in just ask your health care professional, family and even yourself if breast or ovarian cancer runs in your family. The Just Ask! campaign helps women and the health care professionals who treat them to understand the risk for hereditary breast or ovarian cancer. The first step in assessing this risk is a simple question: is there a personal or family history of breast or ovarian cancer? Just Ask! is a rallying cry for everyone to ask the question of themselves, their families, friends and patients.
Just Ask!™ is an initiative sponsored by the providers of BRACAnalysis®, a test for individuals thought to be at high risk for hereditary breast or ovarian cancer because of a personal and/or family history of breast or ovarian cancer. BRACAnalysis® detects mutations in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes, the gene mutations that are responsible for the vast majority of hereditary breast and ovarian cancer.
Do you feel like helping others? All it takes is a simple click of a “like” button. In an effort to help others protect themselves against cancer, a donor will donate $1.00 for every “like” that the Just Ask! Facebook page receives (up to $25,000). This money will help provide screening and mammograms to women who could not otherwise afford them.
The Prizes
This week's giveaway is all hereditary cancer awareness. One lucky winner will receive a Flip HD Camera with jacket (ARV: $250).
