"Cheap" used to be a term that would make any stylish gal cringe. But it's safe to say that being frugal or dare we say budget conscious is actually pretty stylish these days. Who among us does not live for the ultimate brag: "Oh this designer handbag? Yeah, 30 bucks at TJ Maxx!"

Jeff Yeager, the self-proclaimed "Ultimate Cheapskate" takes cheap to the extreme, making it a way of life rather than just a string of great deals. You may have seen Jeff on The Today Show or read his columns in which he shares his tips for saving cash while still living a happy and fulfilling life.

For some of Jeff's clever tips, check out this podcast interview where he shares insight from his own life as well as findings from his research in which he interviewed "his cheap brethren" from across the country.
