Sweet Pepper Salsa Recipe

Sweet Pepper Salsa Recipe

Are you ready for some fresh vegetables and bold flavor? I know many of us have had cold and dreary weather, so I thought we all would enjoy some beautiful color on our tables! I have a Sweet Pepper Salsa recipe for you guys today. It is very easy to make and since it's sweet (and not spicy!) my kids even liked it.

What you need

  • 1 Can of tomatoes (or fresh if you have them!)
  • 1/4 Sweet onion - diced
  • 1/2 Lime - squeeze for the juice
  • 1/4 cup Fresh chopped cilantro
  • 1 Jalapeno - take the seeds out...the seeds are the HOT part!
  • 1 Red Fresno Pepper - take the seeds out
  • 2 Tablespoons of minced garlic
  • 5 Sliced Mini sweet peppers - I used the Bella Fina Sweet Peppers

What You Do

  • Add all your ingredients into a food processor until well blended
  • Enjoy!

You can easily add more garlic or cilantro to taste...or some of those seeds if you like it spicy 🙂  This was actually the first time I made fresh salsa and I was amazed just how easy it is.  The freshness is just delicious!
