Ball Jar Craft: Sunflowers in a Ball Jar
There's something about sunflowers that just make me smile. They are one of the friendliest flowers! They also make a great gift. Who wouldn't love to receive a Ball jar full of sunflowers on their door step? The best part is you can create this fun little gift for less than five bucks.
Sunflowers in a Ball Jar
Supplies:
- 1 quart Ball jar
- Sunflowers (found at Fresh and Easy for $2.99)
- Ribbon
Directions:
The first thing you want to do is cut down your stems. I found it easiest to do this with a bread knife. I placed three sunflowers in my Ball jar with the water and then added a little Sprite. The soda tends to help them last longer.
Then I tied the jar off with some black ribbon and it was ready to go! This was such an easy and simple gift to make. The best part was seeing my friend's smile on her face when I dropped these pretty flowers off.
