Why Your Family Should Cruise With Disney Cruise Line

family funtravel

There are many ways to have an amazing vacation. But how does a parent keep their kids happy on vacation while getting some alone time with that special someone? There is one word to solve this conundrum: Disney. We can all agree that anything involving Disney is special and creates great memories. Making your next family vacation one that includes Disney will definitely make mom and dad "the coolest" parents on the block.

Why Your Family Should Cruise with Disney Cruise Line

The Magic of Disney

A fun way to vacation with Disney is to go on a Disney Cruise with Disney Cruise Line. Just as when you walk through that gates of Disney World, walking on-board a Disney ship is magical. From the moment your family steps aboard, they will become immersed in a magical journey that the whole family will love. The number one reason to vacation with Disney Cruise Line is all of their attention to detail. The same attention to detail that you find in the parks is also aboard their ships. From detailed artwork that provide inspirations for Disney films to animated portraits that have your children solving crimes with The Muppets.

Nothing makes a child more happy than seeing their favorite Disney character partying on the pool deck to some awesome tunes, especially when they can join in with Donald and Mickey. The biggest different between a Disney Cruise and any other cruise is that their activities for children and teens are unparalleled on any other ship.

Activities for Kids

The youngest member of the family can enjoy a special pool area, Nemo's Reef, where they can get wet with Nemo, Marlin, and Dory. These youngsters can also enjoy time away from mom and dad by attending the It's A Small World Nursery. This nursery is staffed with qualified counselors who do story time and even nap time.

For children of any age, the Disney's Oceaner Club and Disney Oceaner Lab are perfect getaways. Kids can enjoy their favorite Disney films on a giant plasma screen or create unique artwork. They can enjoy playing in the Monster's Inc. room or hang out with Slinky and Mr. Potato head. Little girls will especially love getting to know Tinker Bell and her fairy friends in Pixie Hallow. Little girls can also enjoy getting a princess makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

Activities for Pre-Teens and Teens

Preteens and teens can enjoy time away from parents at the trendy spots of Edge and Vibe. Getting to hang out with "people their own age" will really make a difference as they dance away to awesome tunes, form their own rock band, or play video games.

Activities for Parents

Mom and dad can enjoy time together as their children are supervised by Disney crew members by going to the Senses Spa and Fitness Center. Couples massages are the hot ticket item and go fast, so make sure to book as soon as possible. Those 18 years and older can enjoy the deck area devoted to an adult only pool. Also, try brunch at the adult only restaurant Palo, which has amazing food, service, and an incredible view. Also try dinner for two at the exclusive Remy.

All in all, a Disney Cruise is by far the best way to cruise. From character meet and greets—including the Disney Princesses—to a pirate deck party with Captain Jack Sparrow—which includes a dynamic fireworks show out at sea—family Broadway shows, catching the latest Disney film at the theater, and the warm and friendly staff, your family will treasure all the memories they have with Disney.

Have you ever been on a Disney Cruise? What was your favorite part? What would you have changed?
