Recipes: Five Winning Summer Appetizer Recipes

We're coming up on Memorial Day and summer, the time of picnics and sporting events, pools and playing. Yay! At times like these, it's important that a girl have a good repertoire of appetizer recipes at her disposal. Of course, she can always pull out the Seven-Layer Dip, but sometimes she may need something else to impress the guests or satisfy appetites. Here are some suggestions for fun appetizers from tweeters at one of our recent Girls' Night Out Twitter parties (#gno), with Frito-Lay.

Mini Meat or Veggie Pies, shared by @HousewifeBliss, who says "they make great party food and the kiddies will love making them too."

Bacon Balls. @Ophelan83 says: "Oooh they're super easy. You take bacon and wrap it around stuffing and deep fry."

As we all know, having good food at a get-together can provide the perfect backdrop for bonding and fun. As tweeter @ASDSupportnc says: "Good is never boring."
