Recipe: Chicken Broccoli Ring
I love to entertain, but I am also one of the worlds biggest procrastinators. This is not always the best combination. I often find myself running around trying to clean and cook at the last minute. Because of this, I have been known to just throw a meal together in a very short amount of time. Sometimes this has been disastrous and others, like the one I am about to share, have been huge hits. The Chicken Broccoli Ring is easy to make and always disappears quickly.
Chicken Broccoli Ring
Ingredients
2 cups diced chicken breast
(either bake your own or if your in a hurry Tyson's works great)
1 2/3 cup broccoli chopped small
1 1/2 cup cubed Monterey Jack or mild cheddar cheese
1/2 cup crumbled bacon
2/3 cup ranch dressing
1 can crescent rolls
(I use Pillsbury)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl combine chicken, broccoli, cheese, bacon and dressing.
On a buttered cookie sheet lay out crescent rolls in a circle as shown.
Place mixture around the circle on the wider end of the rolls.
Fold the narrower sides of the rolls over and to the middle of the ring.
Place in the oven for about 30 minutes or until the top is a nice golden brown.
See, I told you it was really easy. I hope you enjoy!
