Earn Money by Sharing What You Know
me • biz, tech, & social media
Believe it or not, you know things that others want to know. In fact, you know things that other people will pay you to teach them! The best part is that you can create your own online class and get paid to share what you know.
What Do You Know?
The hardest part about creating an online class may be deciding what to teach! Take a look at the skills you have and the types of things you know you are good at. What have your friends complimented you on in the past?
For some people, this may be a life skill. Perhaps you are a coupon whiz and can walk out of the grocery store with a cart full of groceries and only pay $12. Or maybe you are great at organizing closets or planning events.
For others, your natural talents may fall into a business category. Do you know how to use social media or set up and customize a blog? There are many people out there who want to know these things and would love to have you as their guide.
Do You Need a Degree or Certification?
You may be wondering if you need a degree or some other type of certificate to teach an online class. The answer is simple: No. You are not teaching at an accredited school. You are creating your own class, so you do not need to have any type of degree or license.
People will always ask for proof that you know what you are talking about, of course. You can provide real examples and that should suffice. For example, if you are teaching a couponing class, you can take a picture of your receipt and show them exactly what you paid for a bunch of groceries. If you are going to teach people how to use social media, you can have them look at your own Twitter profile so that they can see how many followers you have and how actively engaged you are with your network.
How to Share Information
There are many ways to hold an online class. If you want to keep things super simple, you could hold your class by telephone conference. Of course, it wouldn't be "online," but it would be your own class! You can secure a free conference line here.
You can sign up for a free web conference room at www.dimdim.com. The free rooms hold up to 10 people, and that is a great size for a class. DimDim offers great features to help you teach and share information.
Why Not Get Started Today?
There are so many options when it comes to holding your own online class. Your class could be a one-time event or a regular workshop, and it could be done in the morning or at night after the kids are in bed.
This is a very flexible and creative way to earn pay from home, and you get to call all of the shots!
The question isn't whether you should hold your own class. The question is why not get started today?
