Pumpkin is king during the chilly autumn days. Gather your favorite family recipes or search Pinterest for new ideas, and bake up some festive treats for your kid’s teacher, coach, or scout leader. {Bonus: Ding-dong-ditch a pumpkin or apple pie at a friend’s house; or when you make your fall menu of squash soup, double the batch and deliver a crock to a new mom on your street!}

Get crafty and decorate pumpkins or paper turkeys to give to a local children’s shelter or nursing home. This project is great for groups like Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, and youth groups.

Give the service of Halloween Etiquette with Tips and tricks for kids looking for treats. {Bonus: Deliver tricks instead of begging for treats!
